JDLT Ltd is a UK technology partner for accountants and tax advisers. It runs their IT support and security, and builds the software that automates their work. It was founded in 2017 by Jake Dowie, who has spent his career doing both.
The son of an early software pioneer, Jake’s been coding since he was young. He’s worked in IT for over thirty years, starting in support in 1994 and going on to run infrastructure and support teams. Along the way he’s worked in and with organisations of every size, from start-ups and scale-ups to multinationals, across law, finance, telecoms, retail, media and the arts.
He co-founded a tech company in 1999 and saw the dotcom bubble from the inside, which taught him to tell hype from what lasts. He then led IT and software development teams, latterly on the senior management team of a prominent UK IT provider, from where he and his lead developer co-founded JDLT in 2017.
Whoever you speak to at JDLT knows your setup, because they set it up. No call centre, no junior first line, and no explaining your systems from scratch each time.
